it's juz a medal,
a paper with words in fact...
we got a silver,
not because we couldn't make it
not because we werent good enough
not because we deserve it
it's juz because we did not get the recognition,
of an experienced judge, an aussy, a canadian guitarist, and another angmor,
who judge us based on a set of rubrics,
gave us shitty results
a says you've played very well...

it's a form of art that should not,
could not
and must not
be judged based on a fixed set of guidelines,
i am not questioning the legitimacy of the judges,
but i seriously feel that they should judge based on their own feelings...
according to the MC,
we got the highest % of *supposedly* GWH ppl in the whole SYF,
but coz too high,
we kenna downgrade...
juz like last time...
they change the standards and expectations as they like...
clearly they do not noe how does this medal portrays us,
and how much effort we hav put into this...
in S'pore... everything is based on results....
but we,
HCISO,
know that we had played well,
and we deserve a GWH
in all our hearts,
we are GWH!!!
i dun believe in the Machiavellian views,
coz this end did not justify the process...
the process itself have prove us to be GWH medalist...
for all those suckers who thinks we are noob...
u havent heard us play,
u havent seen us practice,
u havent enjoyed our music,
u havent feel our hearts...

we know that we may not have the recognition of the 5 judges,
but we hav the recognition of everyone else who heard us play...
we know we improved!
and we will continue to strive on!
we hav the passion...
and we know we rock...

we dun want anyone to sympathise us,
we muz stand up ourselves
